Department of English

The Department of English has played a remarkable and vital role since its inception. The Department continued its journey till the college attained the status of University, and the journey has been in progress with success.

The Department has proved its worth on several occasions by imparting training to the teachers of the University and offering useful remedial courses from time to time.

The Department of English also voluntarily extends its services to teachers for preparation in IELTS and TOEFL, supporting academic and professional communication skills.

Department Introduction

The Department of English is an important component of Sindh Agriculture University. It contributes to students’ academic development by strengthening their English language, communication, writing and comprehension skills.

The Department offers compulsory English courses from 1st year to 3rd year in all five faculties, including the Institute of Food Sciences and Technology and the Information Technology Centre of the University.

Through compulsory courses, remedial teaching and language support services, the Department helps students and faculty members improve academic communication, professional writing and language proficiency.

The Department offers compulsory English courses from 1st year to 3rd year across all five faculties, including IFST and ITC, to strengthen students’ academic language skills.
