Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Sciences is one of the major faculties of Sindh Agriculture University, Tandojam.

The Faculty was established in 1971 and is located towards the eastern end of the main campus of the University on Hyderabad-Mirpurkhas Highway, about 15 km to the south of Hyderabad city.

The Faculty offers five-year Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), M.Phil and Ph.D degree programs under the term system through its fourteen teaching departments.

The Faculty provides academic and professional training in animal husbandry, veterinary sciences, poultry, livestock management, animal nutrition, animal reproduction, veterinary medicine, surgery, pathology, microbiology, parasitology and animal product technologies.

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Sciences, Sindh Agriculture University, Tandojam. The Faculty has a long-standing role in producing skilled veterinarians, researchers and professionals for livestock, poultry and animal health sectors.

The Faculty offers comprehensive teaching, practical training and research opportunities through its fourteen specialized departments. These departments cover basic veterinary sciences, clinical sciences, animal production, nutrition, reproduction, disease diagnosis and animal product technologies.

Our academic programs are designed to develop professional competence in veterinary practice, livestock management, animal disease control, public health, food safety and research-based innovation.

The Faculty is committed to strengthening education, research, clinical services and farmer-oriented support so that graduates may contribute effectively to animal health, livestock productivity and national development.
