Important Instructions

1. Generate Online Bank Challan.
2. Print Challan Form.
3. Submit fees in any HBL Branch.
4. Print the application form from the given link.
5. Carefully fill the application form.
6. Send the duly filled printed copy of the application form along with original paid bank challan of Rs. 3000.00 and attested photocopies of required documents through courier service on or before 08-12-2025 to the Directorate of Advanced Studies, Sindh Agriculture University, Tandojam.
7. Pre-entry test will be conducted on 18-12-2025 at respective faculties.
8. PhD applicants in Information Technology who have already submitted their admission forms are exempt from submitting a new application form and processing fee.

Required Documents

1. Matriculation pass certificate.
2. Intermediate pass certificate.
3. Bachelor pass certificate.
4. Master pass certificate only for PhD applicants.
5. Three copies of detailed marks certificates / transcripts of Matriculation, Intermediate, Bachelor and Masters.
6. Migration Certificate for applicants who graduated from universities other than Sindh Agriculture University Tandojam.
7. 04 passport size recent photographs.
8. National Identity Card.
9. Domicile and PRC Certificate.
10. NOC from employer with proof of study leave for Government / Semi-Government employees.
11. Original paid bank challan of Rs. 3000.00.

Program Overview

The Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Geographic Information System (GIS) and Remote Sensing (RS) is offered by the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering & Technology, Main Campus, Sindh Agriculture University, Tandojam.

The one-year PGD program is designed for graduates from diverse academic backgrounds to develop strong understanding of GIS, Remote Sensing, satellite image analysis, GNSS technologies and their practical applications in agriculture, natural resources, urban planning, mapping, disaster management and related fields.

Eligibility & Program Structure

• Minimum requirement: Sixteen years of graduation from an HEC-recognized institution or equivalent foreign degree.
• Admission merit will be determined on the basis of percentage obtained in bachelor’s degree.
• Admission offer letters will be issued to top candidates strictly on merit.
• 30% seats are reserved for candidates from engineering disciplines and 70% for non-engineering disciplines.
• Program duration is one year, spread over two regular semesters.
• Total credit hours: 30, including course work and research project.
