Sindh Agriculture University (SAU) Tandojam won the All Pakistan Inter-University Hockey Championship Zone-K final by defeating the University of Sindh Jamshoro 1–0 at the university hockey ground. The winning goal was scored by Abdul Malik in a closely contested match. Vice Chancellor Engr. Prof. Dr. Altaf Ali Siyal distributed trophies and awards among players and congratulated the teams, stating that SAU promotes a strong sports culture and provides equal opportunities to students. Director Sports Shaokat Ali Sangi briefed participants about the championship. Zafar Mangi was declared “Man of the Series” and Ahmed received the Best Goalkeeper award. The final was attended by Dr. Syed Ghyasuddin Shah Rashdi, Dr. Zaheeruddin Mirani, Aslam Niazi, Saeed Zafar, and Piyar Ali Shar along with other guests.

A National Conference on Women’s Protection 2026 was held at Sindh Agriculture University (SAU) Tandojam, where speakers called for harassment-free campuses and stronger protection mechanisms for women. Vice Chancellor Engr. Prof. Dr. Altaf Ali Siyal said women’s safety, education, and empowerment are essential for national progress, adding that equal opportunities and strong institutional support must be ensured for women. He stressed that harassment, violence, and discrimination against women require collective action from society and institutions. Marvi Awan, Dr. Muhammad Ismail Kumbhar, Samina Abbasi, and Dr. Shabana Sartaj Tunio also highlighted issues of cyber harassment, violence, and women’s rights during the conference.
